Nominations, applications being accepted for 12th annual Wisconsin Innovation Awards

Nominations and applications are now being accepted from Wisconsin companies of all shapes and sizes for the 2025 Wisconsin Innovation Awards with a deadline of July 15.

Hosted by the Wisconsin Technology Council, the awards ceremony will be held the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 4, as a precursor to the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium on Nov. 5-6; both events will take place at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.

Now in its 12th annual celebration, the Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to recognize and inspire creative thinking that spans all sectors of the state’s economy — including manufacturing, agriculture, forest products, non-profits, life sciences, technology, food, education, government and more.

These awards aim to elevate transformative ideas and the people behind them. Past winners have come from 30 distinct Wisconsin communities with 98 category winners since the contest’s inception.

“Innovation isn’t confined to tech startups,” said Angela Schlobohm, vice president at the Wisconsin Technology Council. “It thrives in all corners of Wisconsin’s economy, and we’re proud to highlight the incredible work being done across industries.”

The WIA celebration is more than an awards ceremony. It brings together entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, and business leaders from throughout the state, creating a powerful network of inspiration and collaboration.

Anyone can nominate a person or company whose groundbreaking idea deserves recognition. Nominations are open now. To nominate, please visit https://wisconsininnovationawards.com/.

Additional details on the event agenda, will be announced in the coming weeks. For updates and registration, visit the website.
