The primary focus of the WasteLAB is inspiring and engaging others to rethink manufacturing processes by applying design, engineering and craftsmanship to what would otherwise be landfill bound materials. The WasteLAB is applying new product development process to imagine new uses for waste materials from manufacturing such as broken clay parts, glaze wastes, foundry dust, and enamel powders.
