Wauwatosa’s RoddyMedical Inc., which invented a single-use armband to keep IV lines and other medical tubes in place, has raised $600,000 in seed funding, according to a Friday announcement.
The experience inspired Roddy to design a product to prevent such a thing from happening again. Her company launched the SecureMove-TLC, a wearable single-use medical device designed to organize and secure different types of medical tubes, IV lines and cords to support patient therapy efficiency and improve IV medication safety.
